The tape of "Trooper Garrity's" phone call is up on the Boston Herald website.   The Romney camp is still denying any of this happened. Somebody around this place is impersonating the impersonators - that's their story and they're sticking with it.

Garrity’s lawyer has denied his client made the phone call. On the tape, “Trooper Garrity” plays out an elaborate skit during which he even speaks to “dispatch” while he’s on the phone with the answering service.

A manager for the plumbing company said the “trooper” appeared to be talking to himself over the radio as he coordinated efforts to find the driver of the truck and pull him over.   

At then end of the tape, the “trooper” tells the answering service the plumbing truck has been pulled over in East Boston and that he’s asked for him to be held there until he arrives.

The person impersonating the impersonator used Garrity's cell phone.

If he did this, then why would he offer to have a voice analysis done? This whole thing reeks of another McCain attack.

First of all, McCain isn't a nutcase. Secondly, if he was going to concoct a scandal, it wouldn't be about Romney's security goons, he'd go for a high ranking tool that would hit the campaign strategically.

Jay Garrity, who is director of operations on Romney's presidential campaign and a constant presence at his side, became the primary target of the investigation, according to one of the sources, after authorities traced the cellphone used to make the call back to him.

I imagine Romney has you people doing damage control 24/7. But, the bottom line whatever has you all in such a state of denial with the obvious evidence of record that Ike Romney's positions are exactly the same as Guiliani's except he's lying about it - stinks of a cult. Any fool can see the whole thing is smoke and mirrors.

Quite frankly, most people run from weird when they get the irrefutable evidence. Watching you all cover and up and lie for him is just too Valley of the Dolls.
